The Site includes a cloud platform that tracks sales from referrals made by merchants’ affiliates. By registering to use our Site and by continuing to use our Site, you are consenting to the terms of this Privacy Policy and acknowledge that information you provide to us through the Site will be subject to our information practices disclosed herein. The website is owned or controlled by Refersion Inc. (“Refersion,” “we,” “our” or “us”). We are responsible for processing your personal data on our Site. This Privacy Policy will service to assist you in making an informed decision about how you will use our Site. References to "you" in this Privacy Policy means you, your duly authorized representatives and any entity you may represent in connection with your use of the Site.

2. What is Personal Data and what do we collect?

Refersion may share your personal information if it is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, including during the negotiation stage. 5. Our use of Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies (“Cookies”) to help better personalize your online experience and track sales. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. 6. To which countries do we transfer your Personal Data?

Refersion is a U.S. based company and we store information we collect from you via our website on servers located in the United States. We may also handle your data in order to process it for a third party that is not located in the United States. Therefore, your information may be transferred to and stored in other countries outside of the jurisdiction you are in. Any international transfers of your personal information are made pursuant to appropriate safeguards, such as standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission. 7. How long do we process your Personal Data?

Refersion will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, terms of service, terms of use and other policies.

Note that, as required by law, we will require you to prove your identity. We may conduct an identity verification by phone call or email. Depending on your request, we will ask for information such as your name, the last item you purchased from us, or the date of your last purchase from us. We may also ask you to provide a signed declaration confirming your identity. Following a request, we will use reasonable efforts to supply, correct or delete personal information about you in our files.

Authorized Agent

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request to access your information, delete your information, or opt out of the sale of your information. To designate an agent for these purposes:

10. Security of Your Personal Information

Refersion maintains appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personally identifiable information submitted to us against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to your Personal Data. This takes place both during transmission and once it is received. In the event that we are required by law to inform you of a breach to your personal information we may notify you electronically, in writing, or by telephone, if permitted to do so by law. In particular, the Site is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to the Site as safe as reasonably possible. Refersion uses regular malware scanning. Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/financial information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology provided by Comodo. To secure your personal information from unauthorized access, use or disclosure, Refersion also uses the SSL services of Amazon and Cloudflare.

You are responsible for keeping your password for certain of the Site confidential and secret. Anyone given your password will have the ability to edit your user settings at any time. As such and for other important security reasons, we urge you to keep your password secure and safe at all times if you are assigned or create one. By using our Site, you acknowledge that you and you alone are responsible for the security of your username and password if you are assigned or create one.

11. Children

The Site is intended for adults and as such we do not expect children under the age of sixteen (16) to be accessing this website or our services. Refersion does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 16. The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of sixteen (16), and we request that such individuals do not provide personally identifiable information through the Site. If you become aware that your child has provided us with personal information, without your consent, then please contact us using the details below so that we can take steps to remove such information.

We do not knowingly sell the personal information of minors under 16 years of age without affirmative authorization.

12. Third Party Websites


You may disconnect your account from a third party account at any time. Users may learn how to disconnect their accounts from third-party websites by accessing their account settings.

In addition, our Privacy Policy addresses only our practices with respect to information we collect about you in the course of using our Site and does not apply to information about you that might be collected by a third party website or an offering linked to or otherwise accessible from our Site or offline by Refersion (unless specifically stated). Refersion will occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect company and customer feedback. Refersion encourages you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to be informed of how Refersion is protecting your information. If we make changes, we will revise the “Last Revised” date at the bottom of this page. Any changes will become effective when we post the revised Privacy Policy. If we make any material changes we will notify you by means of a notice on the Site prior to the change becoming effective.

This Privacy Policy is subject to our Terms of Service with respect to governing law, venue, dispute resolution, limitation of damages and intellectual property ownership.
